About Dr. Fidel Abreu, DDS
Dr. Fidel Abreu, DDS
Owner & Lead Dentist · Since 1997
Dr. Abreu has more than 30 years of experience in dentistry. He completed his dental training at Havana University, College of Dentistry in 1987, then immigrated to the United States in 1992.
In 1994 he was accepted into NYU College of Dentistry and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1997 with Honors in Endodontics. He started his private practice that same year, and in 2015 founded his own practice — Dr. Fidel Abreu, DDS, PLLC. in Freeport, Long Island.
Dr. Abreu has placed over 300 dental implants and completed advanced training in Sinus Lifts, Block Grafts, the Split Ridge technique, and All-on-Four overdentures, becoming a Diplomate of the International Dental Implant Association.
He continues to pursue continuing education in the latest implant and cosmetic techniques, with a focus on giving patients calm, modern care.

Our office is equipped with modern dental technology — including the Gendex GXDP-700 intraoral scanner — to make every visit faster, more accurate, and more comfortable. The space itself was designed to feel warm and spa-like, so even patients who feel nervous about the dentist tend to relax once they're settled in.
